I’d like to go back to Amsterdam so I can say stuff like, “Oh, well the first time you go to Amsterdam, you feel like a kid in a candy store. Enjoy it—enjoy the taboo amusements the city has to offer. But after that experience—the second time you go—you’ll be better able to immerse yourself in the culture. I recommend going with a bleach blonde pixie cut and a braided rat tail so people think you’re Dutch.”
